Perfume of the moment: Miss Dior

Thanks to some VIB points I was saving up with Sephora, I scored a deluxe mini of this scent and loved it.  Online it says it's a combination of mandarin, peony and rose.  It's definitely worth a try.

I love the convenience of the roller ball style, plus it gives me a chance to change scents often.  I couldn't find this scent in a roller but it's worth the splurge. ($75)

Everyday make-up for brown eyes

I am loving these cooler temps (finally) but am really missing my summer glow.  I feel so pale right now.  I just picked up the new Naked3 and so far, I love it.  There are a couple colors that are heavy on the glitter but there are plenty of options that are good to go.  The far right colors are similar to Naked2 but all the new ones give even more options than before.

Here are my go-to choices for late winter.

Christmas list for the gals

Christmas gift ideas
1-Who wouldn't love a statement necklace? This would be great for all the ladies on your list.
2-Hunter Boots are where it's at this fall.  These are a nice change to the standard glossies.
3-Our entire family loves their tumblers.  Feeling creative? Customize yours online.
4-Bar carts are the cutest home accessory and these would be a great addition to your fashion glasses.
5-Moms would love this soft Chanel scent.
6-We picked up these mocassins for Simon's grandmother.  These are super soft and have a grippy sole so they will be just as safe for her as they are fashionable.
7-My nieces each got weekender bags, monogrammed.  The pink is so cute.
8-I have had my Clarisonic for years and it's the gift that keeps on giving.  This Mia is perfect.
9-My new fave mascara.  I love Dior mascara and this is everything!
10-We spend the summers at the lake and a great tote is a must.  This is a good choice.

What are your go to gifts this year?  My shopping is almost done!  I am ready for family time to enjoy our new goodies and relax.  Eight days to go.....

Brown eyed girl: Eye shadow picks for brunettes

My daily eye shadow for work is minimal.  Working outside several days a week in 100% humidity can be a challenge.  I keep make-up to just the basics and waterproof (humidity proof) mascara is a must.  These are my current picks.
What are your current faves?  Any tricks for keeping make-up on in hot conditions?

My top 10 essentials

My everyday essentials

Burt s Bees lip treatment This goes with me every where I go.  I have it in my car, purse and several coat pockets.  Burt's Bees is the best!
Goody hair pin Bobby pins are my go to for humid or windy Florida days.
Gold earrings Simon got me these earrings last year and they are my go to set. (my set is without the center diamond)
Pandora sterling silver jewelry My first Pandora items came from my in-laws.  This bracelet is especially cherished because Simon's Dad passed away just five months after I received this as a Christmas present.
Michael Kors watch MK watches are my fave style.  I got this one in the spring when it came out.  It's perfect for those that like to mix white gold and yellow gold.
Danielle Stevens Jewelry monogrammed bangle bracelet I saw this in People's monthly style magazine and ordered it.  It's a couple years old but has held up remarkably well and I wear it daily.
Kate spade wallet I have had my KS wallet for many years and it's still like new.  These are worth the investment.
Christian Dior mascara I love this mascara.  On humid days, I layer with an inexpensive waterproof mascara.
Apple Store My iphone is with me every where I go.  I rely on it for my calendar, my emails, as a camera and of course calls and texting.
essie Nail Color - Mamba If you are looking for a perfect neutral polish to wear every day, this is it!  I finish with OPI top coat.
