Product Rotation {Shower}

I feel like I can get a little bored with my products and tend to keep waaayyyy more in the bathroom than I actually need.  I have been in spring cleaning mode on the weekends and really tried to scale back to just the necessities.

Dry brush.  I have an inexpensive drugstore brush and do my best to use it a few times a week.  I always seem to remember after I am already wet.  Dry brushing has tons of benefits and is a nice shower pre-treatment when I can remember.

I am not not too picky on my sugar scrubs.  I tend to favor a more gritty scrub and use this about once a week, more during summer.  One of my favorites was a cocoa scrub I got at Publix.  It was super cheap and smelled fantastic.

I use the GK silver shampoo once a week.  It's great for keeping blonde hair from getting brassy tones.  It tends to be drying though so be sure to use conditioner.

I have been with Living Proof full shampoo for several months and still love it.

The salon I go to carries Kerastase exclusively so I rotate that brand in and out.  It's on the pricey side but it lasts a long time and smells nice.  This conditioner is good for adding some density.

I read in a magazine this razor was one of the best and I have to agree,  I've been using this prob a year and it is an amazingly close shave.  The knees and ankle/heels can be a little tricky but I have never cut myself with this.

I never got into liquid soap.  It's all my husband uses but I still favor the bar.

I have had my Clarisonic at least five years, maybe six.  I use it almost every day and love, love, love the results.  It's an investment but so worth it.

I use a good cleanser every day and an exfoliator several times weekly.  This micro magic from Bliss is amazing.  It leaves your face so soft.

Wow, that's a lt of stuff for my scaled-back shower tidy up.  :)  Hey, a girl's gotta have her products.

Favorite pins of the moment: Around the house

I was hoping to share a couple style pins but I haven't got any new ones....boooo!

I am in real estate for work so I often keep an eye on new trends and ways to decorate model homes.
This pin is almost unreal that such a transformation can be achieved in such a small space.  Wouldn't you agree?

This idea is so simple and just as awesome.  These style lights were on trend for many years and it can be frightful to take them down and replace.  Mainly due to the uncertainty of the drywall and paint behind it.  This makes an update beyond easy.

OMG...is this the best or what?!  Perfection for an old TV cabinet.

Another major small space reno....gorg!

Our return air is in the ceiling BUT if it was on a wall and visible, this would be ideal.
I am overdue for a family room update.  I can easily find stuff I love but it can be tricky to have them work in my space.  Here is a happy medium.  Grays are all the trends this year and this is on point.

What are your Spring projects?  I found my online motivation, just need to get to work and put these into action!  :)

Seeing pink - 10 Valentine's Day outfit ideas

Hello loves!  Valentine's Day is just a week away.  We will be getting creative this year.  I fly out of town Thursday afternoon and don't get home until Sunday so we will have dinner out before I leave. I have been looking online for outfit ideas and found some cute ideas.  I have similar pieces to most of these so I can do a little remixing and have a pretty look for our night out.

These outfits gave me some good ideas.  We may double-date with friends so once we have set plans, I can finalize my look.  I am loving the all black look with bright heels.  It likely won't work for our dinner but it was so pretty, I wanted to post anyways.  Enjoy your weekend!

New hair: 10 updates to the bob

New hair for the new year!  My hair is fine and gets stringy once it gets to my shoulders.  My youngest sister was blessed to have beautiful long hair that looks great straight or curly.  S-I-G-H....
I am always on the hunt for a freshened up look and found some easy updates.  Color and curls are easy ways to freshen up a shoulder-length style without taking off length.  Which are your favorites?

Hope you are having a super hair day!

11 Fun Christmas Party Ideas

Less than two weeks until our family Christmas Eve dinner and planning has begun.  I have started looking online to plan the fun.  Pinterest is my go to spot.  There are so many great ideas that have been shared and I have some wonderful inspiration.  Here are some ideas, too great not to share.
I have used a couple other cheesecake dips and they have been delish.  This looks like a great one.

This project is sooooo cute.  I think the kids would love it and it'd be a great project for the guys.

I have a few parties to attend and this would be adorable for a little hostess gift, don't you think?

So pretty.  This would be a good project for my oldest niece to help with.

These two pancake platters and cute donuts would be perfect for the children on Christmas morning.

This is a great idea for my 14-year old nephew.  We have kicked him off the gift list and moved him to cash until he gets a little older.  Cash is king for teenagers.

This would be a pretty and simple arrangement to use across the house.

We are planning some kids games and this would be so fun.

The kids love to go to Starbucks and order cocoa so we are planning a cocoa bar so they can make their own.  I have seen varieties with caramel and cool whip too.

What are your favorite Christmas party ideas?
