The perfect weekender

Summer is here and I am ready for some weekend getaways.  I have a couple totes that are great but I find I am always carrying a separate cosmetics bag so I am on the hunt for a duffle-style carrier to give me a little more room.
I found choices some great online.  I am really loving the ones that offer a separate zippered section for shoes.  Here's to a fun-filled summer with lots of weekend trips!

Summer on my mind

May is here, it's my official start to summer.  I have a family trip on Memorial Day and a work trip the following weekend.  I am mentally preparing for my trips and am searching for a few new pieces.  I have come to love a bandeau top suit so I avoid tan lines as much as possible.  I love simple pieces that can be tossed in a beach bag and thrown on.  These MK sandals are so cute and would look great with shorts or a maxi.
What are your summer plans?

Jewelry Storage Options

As statement jewelry has become more popular I found my collection to be overflowing across my dresser.  I saw the jewelry cabinet on the top left in a Pottery Barn mailer and just loved it.  The only thing is I wish they had a free-standing option that can be moved easily.
All of the cabinets shown have pre-designed organizers inside, perfect for storing jewelry.  Some even have lock and key options.  How do you organize your jewelry?

Christmas gift ideas

OMG! It's the 25th and that means Christmas is just two months away.  I am not usually an early Christmas shopper but the ladies in my office have been chatting about their holiday buys and I saw online that Pottery Barn had a sale last week so I decided to order a few goodies.

The mason jars came in and they are adorable.  I got several of them personalized for different people on my list.  PB blankets are always a good gift.  I have had mine for nearly 10 years and have purchased them as gifts over the years and always get good feedback.  My ornament hasn't come in yet but I can't wait to check it out.
