Weekend Snapshots

Hey friends.  Hope you had a nice weekend.  I had some one-on-one time with my oldest niece Payton and snapped some pics along the way.....
Saturday morning we met up and cruised around hitting some stores before stopping for some lunch.
She is active and pretty healthy and of all places, she picked Tropical Smoothie for lunch.  It's amazing she has the discipline at such a young age.  After lunch, we treated ourselves to pedicures and I took her for a haircut.

We got home early afternoon and squeezed in a little nap before leaving for the first home game for our new professional women's soccer team in Orlando.  The placed was packed.  In fact, they set a new attendance record of more than 23,000.

I got tickets from one of my co-workers gave me tickets for the game and we had a family from our soccer team sit in the section next to us.  The girls were so excited to see Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd.  My co-worker's tickets are right where the teams sit and just two rows up so the girls had a great view.

Sunday we got lots of R&R and enjoyed the day with our pup, Isabella.

We are off and running into another week.  Make it a great one!

My Sephora buys

I got in on the VIB coupon and stocked up on a couple refill items.

My fave under eye concealer is Dior Skinflash.  I use 02 Candlelight as needed.  It's a twist up style and I use my ring finger to apply.  It lasts forever.

If you have oily skin, this shine powder is great.  I keep it in my cosmetics bag in my purse and never worry about it dropping and breaking.  It doesn't have a mirror but the brush is nice and fluffy and blends well.
Is there any other bronzer to use?! This is the best I have found.  I started with the blush/bronzer kit but prefer to keep them separate.  It goes on so smooth and blends perfectly.
I wasn't quite empty on my perfume but decided to grab this while it was on sale.  I switch perfumes often, not like my husband who has been wearing Eternity since high school, but this is great.  Super light and easy to wear.

That's it friends.  Got the goods and snagged them on sale.  Hope you are off to a super week!

Weekend flashback

Hey y'all.  It's humpday and I am just getting around to posting about the weekend.  Am I running late...or just ready for the next weekend? :)

Friday night we had a soccer team dinner.  No parents, just coaches and players.  The girls are so excited for these nights.  They put so much effort into looking their best and are so proud to be treated like "big kids" for the night.  James and I have been playing soccer together for 25 years and we still talk about some of our favorite off the field moments like this.  We hope to make the same impact of the girls and have them still love the game and each other for years to come.

Saturday we had a great morning game and you could really feel the girls were still on a high note from the team dinner.  Proud coaching moment for sure.

After soccer we had racing where I cheered on Payton and my Dad to podium finishes and we ended the weekend with my niece having a wakeboard competition in Orlando.

This week is off and rolling.  Our weather has been perfection.  I hit up the Sephora VIB sale last week and although I didn't try anything new, I got some good deals while the special was going on.

Hope you're off to a great week....we are halfway to the weekend. :)

Vacation at Disney's Fort Wilderness

Hey friends!  Can you believe summer is almost here?  We took our nieces and nephews on a little weekend getaway and of course, auntie got lots and lots of pictures.  This is our second time here and we were excited to stay in one of the renovated cabins.  The main difference was updated furniture and some kitchen and bathroom spruce-ups...and a big, flat screen tv in the family room.
There are lots of pictures here so if you aren't even thinking of summer vaca ideas in Florida, sign off now before the blitz begins.  :)

A golf cart is a must.  Reserve in advance, they sell out quick!

The grounds are so pretty

Uncle Simon taught the kids shuffleboard

We brought lots of food and had some great family meals without having to rush to get all 8 of us out on time

They have a private beach plus boat rentals and rides to the Magic Kingdom

There you go!  Our little weekend summed up at a glance.  The kids really have the best time here. There is so much for them to do and there are very few things you have to pay for once you are on site.  We used my sister's golf cart so we had enough room for all of us to cruise around together.

There are tent sites and nice spots for RVs.  There is also a more traditional hotel on site but it isn't big enough to sleep all of us so the cabins really work perfectly.  You can bring bicycles, kayaks, tennis equipment, soccer balls...you name it.  There are lots of open spaces to play and there are events going on all day long.

For even more fun, there is a free boat ride to Magic Kingdom so if hitting the parks is on the agenda, you don't have to worry about parking.
