Spring Totes

Did we have spring or go straight from winter to summer?  I was really hoping for some days of high 70's - 80 but we are in mid 80's already and getting warmer.
I have been applying some gradual tanner the last week or so to get a little color and am ready for some fresh totes to get some color going now that winter is behind us.  Here are some of my finds....

Product Rotation {Shower}

I feel like I can get a little bored with my products and tend to keep waaayyyy more in the bathroom than I actually need.  I have been in spring cleaning mode on the weekends and really tried to scale back to just the necessities.

Dry brush.  I have an inexpensive drugstore brush and do my best to use it a few times a week.  I always seem to remember after I am already wet.  Dry brushing has tons of benefits and is a nice shower pre-treatment when I can remember.

I am not not too picky on my sugar scrubs.  I tend to favor a more gritty scrub and use this about once a week, more during summer.  One of my favorites was a cocoa scrub I got at Publix.  It was super cheap and smelled fantastic.

I use the GK silver shampoo once a week.  It's great for keeping blonde hair from getting brassy tones.  It tends to be drying though so be sure to use conditioner.

I have been with Living Proof full shampoo for several months and still love it.

The salon I go to carries Kerastase exclusively so I rotate that brand in and out.  It's on the pricey side but it lasts a long time and smells nice.  This conditioner is good for adding some density.

I read in a magazine this razor was one of the best and I have to agree,  I've been using this prob a year and it is an amazingly close shave.  The knees and ankle/heels can be a little tricky but I have never cut myself with this.

I never got into liquid soap.  It's all my husband uses but I still favor the bar.

I have had my Clarisonic at least five years, maybe six.  I use it almost every day and love, love, love the results.  It's an investment but so worth it.

I use a good cleanser every day and an exfoliator several times weekly.  This micro magic from Bliss is amazing.  It leaves your face so soft.

Wow, that's a lt of stuff for my scaled-back shower tidy up.  :)  Hey, a girl's gotta have her products.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter y'all!  I hope you had a weekend of fun and rest.  We had the best weekend.  We started the weekend with no plans, except to run to my Dad's for a family egg hunt buuuutttttt...Saturday afternoon he called to say his yard was soaked from all the rain we had the last couple days (almost six inches in less than 48 hours) and wanted to know if we could relocate the party.

We have never hosted an Easter party and were a little behind on house cleaning but, for the kids...sure.  Let's do it.  I ran to Target and Michael's for some decor but everyone and their brother were also shopping and most everything had been picked over.

Here are some pics of how we ended up.

My store bought angel food cake with a cute cake banner from Target

In between running errands, I got to stop by and see two of my closest girlfriends.  Love them!

Easter Gift Ideas (For Kids)

Can you believe Easter is almost here?  Seems like it was just Christmas.  I have lots of nieces and nephews and have found that ordering them all the same gift is a huge time saver and also keeps everything fair.  Here are a few items I have ordered over the years that are definite "thumbs up" from the kiddos.

These adorable beach towels from Pottery Barn are a great basket stuffer.  They have so many styles, you are sure to find the most adorb towel for your little one.
I am in Florida so by the time Easter is here, it's warm out and we are summer dreaming.  These wet/dry bags from Pottery Barn are perfection for carrying goggles and wet swimsuits.  Lots of designs are available so each little one gets their own.

These rash guard sets make cute gifts.  Old Navy has tons of styles and their prices cannot be beat.
Being outside all summer, hats are a must.  Luckily, the kids love to wear them.  I just ordered some of these trucker hats in several different colors to sport around the lake.

These lined baskets are some of my faves and they last year after year.  I had a friend, Tiffany embroider mine but these PB styles are almost identical.

That's it for now friends!  Hope you are having a super week. xoxo

Game changer (Just $20)

Lotion is one of my must haves all during the day and somehow I have been missing out of this little gem.  How??!!!  I love lotion but hate body lotion cold.  It takes forever to blend in and is not ideal after a hot shower.  If you don't have one of these lotion warmers yet, you must!

I added a combo of several lotions to mine (all that were low but still had some in them) and added a little body oil I had (but rarely use) and presto, I'm in love!

I got this Conair one from Amazon and it was just $18.00  and I have Prime so it was shipped free.

I wish it had a timer or auto shut-off but I have been just unplugging when I am done.  It is super fast to warm up so in the morning I plug it in when I hop in the shower and at night I plug it in then wash my face and brush my teeth.  It goes on so silky smooth and is definitely worth a try.

The weekend is almost here, enjoy!

5 favorite pins of the month

Happy March y'all!  I have been pinning away and wanted to share a few of my current faves......
Isn't this table the cutest?  My husband has offered to knock out a couple projects around the house and wants to build us a new table.  I came across this and love it.

We have blankets stashed near every seating area.  I need a fresh way to store them and this looks so simple.  I love the handles.

I have been digging vintage, antique, rehabbed items of late and love this shelf.  Pottery Barn has one but I've also seen some at little shops but wasn't sure how to style them.  This would be perfect.

Hey, cutie!  Our nieces stay over frequently and always love the special touches Simon puts on their food.  We are always looking for ways to make their meals extra sweet and this little pancake stole my heart.  Adorbs!

OMG...these are amazing.  Breathtaking.  I am ready to build a new house, just to have these doors.
Hope you are off to a good week.  Spring temps are flirting with us and I can feel a sun-kissed tan right around the corner, followed by months of complaining how hot it is. :)
